There was a case recently of a pub in Woodford green turning away some that had turned up to watch a Tyson Fury fight, they took legal action for discrimination and Greene King settled out of court.
The problem is they normally turn up in big groups and don't want to leave at closing time.
The old bill don't want to know and even advise pubs to shut when there is known to be a large number in the area.

There are two large permanent sites near where I live.
They have bought up farm land and the housing id mostly the sort of lodge that turns up on a large flatbed. I have met a few and, apart from starting the booze early, they are just fine and settled here.
A couple took care of my spiny garden hedge and one their friends took an old motorbike for scrap (a project I was too lazy to finish).
They seem friendly and do their best to fit in now they're here long term.

Never had much to do with them til last night. We were staying at the Westcliff hotel and after getting in at 2am and just settli g dow, the fire alarms went off and didnt stop for about 20 minutes.
Turns out a couple of traveller familes had turned up while we were out and the younger ones were fucking running amok.
Add to that the adults hollering at eachother and the fire alarms going bonkers and you end up with a hotel full og disgruntled guests. No doubt there are decent ones among the community but these cunts last night had zero consideration for others and thought nothing of droppung their shit all over the place.

I was in a pub in Upminster a couple of years ago and there were around ten of them having a few beers and watching a Liverpool game. Fuck me they can DRINK!

The settled ones are OK... know plenty.. always good for a cheap bit of work doing the trees and about 6 months ago bartered the hell to get a nice cheap driveway... still all in one piece at the mo... but yeah the ones that park their caravans on Cricket pitches are indeed cunts...

Same sort of thing happened last summer where I live, they all descended on the football pitch next to the local council gym, the local kids soccer school couldn't play. It took about a week for the council to get a court order to shift them on, whilst in the meantime went to the local pubs, refused to pay etc. Basically the police are shit scared of them, more interested in catching someone speeding. They left the pitches in an appalling state, rubbish everywhere including human shit! I don't know how people can defend them.

They stole our next door neighbours savings while she had them in doing some work in her garden, about eight of them far too distracting for her when she wasn't looking one of them shot upstairs and took a wad of cash she had in a drawer.
My personal experience with travellers has never been a pleasant one can't stand their " couldn't give a shit " attitude maybe I've just been unlucky

They all have houses and just go caravanning for the summer and then play on gullible people’s pity by pretending they have to camp in the middle of a cricket field because they’ve got nowhere else to go.
They should just clamp and tow the lot of them as soon as they plot up anywhere with a ton of no-nonsense old bill on hand.

The ones that were at the old bathing pool site? Absolute cunts, they left actual human shit by the beach huts, treated the public footpath like a racetrack and stole some of the bins the council gave them to put the rubbish in, which they left strewn about the place instead.
The majority of people wouldn't mind them being there if they had one iota of respect for anything that isn't theirs.
Some travelling communities might well be alright but the bunch leroy's is talking about were scum.
